Campaign Builder

Important Notes

  • In order to create a campaign, you must make sure that you have your topic, article, terms, profile, and creatives added.
  • Once you are on the campaign builder screen, you will notice a section that has your site and the amount of channels free. The amount of channels free determines how many campaigns you have available to make.
  • The campaign builder itself is designed to allow buyers to create a lot of campaigns without much time needed. The builder has many ways to build 4-10 campaigns at a time. This is possible because certain fields act as multipliers. For example if you select 1 theme, 2 term groups and 1 ad account, you will be building 2 campaigns because you will have 1 campaign per theme. Another example is that you can select multiple ad accounts. If your build has 2 themes, 1 term group, and 2 ad accounts, it will create 4 campaigns.
  • The default layout is the there is the campaign level, then one ad set, the ads will be determined on the number of assets you choose
    • no more than 12 image ads
    • no more than 8 video ads
  • ACB+ campaigns are structured to have the campaign level, then the number of ad sets is determined by the images/ vids picked
    • Number of ads is how many ad text you choose
  • Do not Build More than 8 campaigns in a build
  • Steps to Campaign Creation

    5. Site = Select which site you want to launch the ad on
    6. Theme = this will effect the colors on the landing page
      • this is an important factor to test because we have seen plenty of times where one theme will not work but the other will and the campaign will be identical
    7. Term Group = Select which term groups you want for your campaign(s)
    8. Post = Select which article variation you want to use.
    9. Traffic Sources = Select Google, Tik Tok or Facebook and the corresponding profiles will appear based on the geo you picked and the language

      • You can use multiple traffic source profiles too. Campaigns will be created for all combos
    11. Creative Selection = Select the creative from the right column and it will add to this section. If you want to only see videos in the right column click video in the Creative Selection field then Search Repo. Same procedure for Headlines. Selecting your desired variations.
      1. More than one of each creative can be selected
      2. All combinations are created from the selected creative. (i.e. 2 images 2 headlines = 4 ads)
      3. Please note that you should not have more than 12 ads for a campaign containing image creatives to ensure the tool operates smoothly
        • For videos, you should have no more than 8 ads
    12. Once you have all your desired assets, select create build
      • You will see the platform bring you to another screen and you can continue building

Post Creation

  • Once a campaign has been created, you can view the general information about it
    • wait about 10 – 20 seconds and it will display the topic, account it was created too, site and an error if one happens to occur
  • If you want to duplicate a previous build because you want to keep the same assets, but target another geo, or use the same account, you can do that. Hit the eye ball button on the right and you will see a blue copy build button. Once you hit this button, it will bring you back to the builder and you can make any edits you wish before publishing again.
